Culture Shock [Chapter 3 v0.1 + Fanwork v0.35]

On this journey our main character will have many rivals trying to destroy his dreams. It is up to the player to decide how he reacts to these rivals and which girls he should pursue. Should he seduce every woman he comes across and build the biggest harem ever? Should he solely focus on building a relationship and pursuing the women he really wants? Or will he wait and watch the women around him transform as their lifestyle changes?

Notable Changes for Day 11 and 12:
– Day 11 and 12 added. Most of the scenes were completely rewritten, renders reorganised, so they barely resemble the original. Earlier cut scenes integrated into these days. Removed unused legacy variables.
– Day 11 – Cut Karla scene from Day 9 added. It was originally intended to have variable swimsuits like the mom/sister beach scene but I think the OG developer realised how much work that would be and didn’t follow up.
– Day 12 – Removed shower recap scene from the start of this day. It’s just filler.
– Day 12 – Mom – The mother dream sequence from Day 11 reinterpreted as a real scene.
– Day 12 – Sister – Reinterpreted and rewrote multiple variations of the sister workout scene.
– Day 12 – Mom – A scene was added for playthroughs where the mother discovered the mc and sister. It’s tuned for beta routes currently, but I’ve left it open for alpha players. Please see above.
– Day 12 – Wrote additional mother/sister night scenes responding to what happened during the day.
– Day 12 – Wrote an alpha scene too early. I’ve added it as a preview. It will be disconnected from v0.40, if it doesn’t get a proper spot to integrate. It will then be reconnected at a later time.

Changes That Can Break Saves:
– All – Maude opened up to BETA route in preparation for an route reorg next update. New dialogue and choices added. New variables hooked up to relevant scenes.
– All – Aunt Liza sex scenes are no longer mandatory. The entry point to her route is on Day 2. Dialogue adjusted to be compatible with her new skippable status.
– All – Revised some Karla variables into one flag variable in preparation for a route reorg.

Updated/New Renders:
– Intro – Most Intro renders replaced with AI upscaled, higher quality renders. Some renders were removed because I downsized the game introduction text.
– Day 0 – Most renders for this day updated.
– Day 0 – While Mom/Sis plane scene renders were updated, they will probably be redone again in the future. It’s a very tricky scene. I’ve kept the new ones here for now.
– Day 1 – Elena introduction scene updated..
– Day 1 – Mom/Sis dinner scene updated. These may be replaced in the future with the originals or newer upscaled renders. They’re better in some ways, worse in others.
– Day 1 – Marcus/Sophie updated to fix the lighting of the scene.
– Day 2 – Karla – Concept art render restored, compressed, and reintegrated into Karla introduction scene.
– Day 4 – Maude – Concept art render restored, compressed, and reintegrated into Maude introduction scene.
– Day 5 – Maude – Render modified to remove text to better fit with story changes.
– Day 11 – Mom – Added AI generated expression changes to the morning scene. I will probably replace them when I get around to training better models with the higher resolution images from the upscaling or just photoshop them on.
– Day 11 – Karla – A single render from the swimsuit scene upscaled and recompressed when I was initially testing the software. The original image was replaced with the higher quality, compressed one.

Some Community Suggested Changes:
– Day 8 – Reverted the stat change after the rape scene. Resetting the score to 0 prevented divergence in dialogue in certain areas in new content.
– Day 9 – Disabled ability to start a relationship with the sister on Day 9. It was jarring to have her cheat on you literally the next day on the beta path. This will probably be re-added in the future once I figure out a way to write around it.

Continuity Error/Bug Fixes:
– Gallery – Removed the NEUTRAL sex scene category in the gallery. It will be re-added when there are NEUTRAL status sex scenes to add.
– All – Incest toggle should be working correctly. If not, toggling it on and off should do the trick. -dmmt
– Day 1 and 2 – Fixed typos and mislabeled characters. – jaybae01
– Day 7 – Fixed some relationship dialogue bleeding into non-sister routes
– Day 7 – Removed some accidental duplicate code in Calculus class.
– Day 10 – Fixed a gap where non-sis routes could get a sis-relationship event.
– Day 11 – Fixed a lot of empty render sequences from the original game. Because there was no dialogue under the scene image, the renders would not show.
– Day 11 – Karla – Re-added all relevant swimsuit renders into choice. The OG game only allowed you to do the last three and didn’t give you a reason why the first three choices were omitted. While these swimsuits will not show up later in the game, this choice may be reworked to have more weight in Karla’s route in the future.

Changes to Previous Days:
– Intro through Day 4 – Numerous dialogue and render placement adjustments.
– Day 0 – Re-removed the Day 0 choice. I found players don’t need that point and it’s dialogue that makes no sense without context.
– Day 2 – Removed sister choice from Day 2. The lines around it don’t make sense without the context from the removed choice in Day 0.
– Day 8 – Added render from a later day to sister/MC dinner talk
– Day 10 – Adjusted Sister/Marcus room dialogue for continuity.
– Day 10 – Adjusted some of Jame’s dialogue.
